Hi guys, I was thinking of breeding my English Bulldog female but I was reading this site with life stages English Bulldog puppies pictures http://www.english-bulldog-puppies-for-sale.com/lifestages.htm & http://www.english-bulldog-puppies-for-sale.com/bdogpics.htm & I noticed it starts of with c-section!! I have heard this before but I wasn’t sure if they all really need to have one??
usually. plus they often need artificial insemination to even get pregnant.
this is a breed that probably only exists because of human interferance.
me personally i wouldn’t risk my dog’s health in this way to produce a litter.
in order to responsibly breed your female should be shown and prove to be beyond breed standard. she should be OFA registered good or excellent on hips and elbows (good luck getting this from a bulldog too) she should be tested for all known bulldog genetic health problems (there are tons) and test negative on all of them. she should be temperment tested as well. the male should be of the same high quality as the female.
then you will need to fork out the money for the insemination and make sure you have the money for a c-section, it’s highly highly likely.
then once the pups are born you must be prepared for every complication known to man. the pups should be vet checked, dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped before finding new homes.
this is why these dogs cost so much and a responsible breeder will still loose tons of money on one bulldog litter. not to mention the health risks you put the female through. they have enough medical problems without adding pregnancy to the list.
your best to enjoy your dog. spay her and love her for the pet she is. breeding her is just too dangerous for most dogs in general, especially one so prone to medical problems from the very start.

I realize that going 120mph will not put bread on the table once someone is in an executive position. Aside from diplomacy, what skills will one need to develop to continue to move up the ranks?
Intelligence and foresight. Read the news, keep updated on major changes, if you see a major opportunity go for it and have a backup plan so you are not the fall guy
